Dr. Ray Freeman - Your Local Eye Care Expert

Dr. Ray M. Freeman is a North Carolina native, and graduated college and medical schools from the University of North Carolina and Chapel Hill.  Following his internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Freeman performed his residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University, where he later became a faculty member where he taught other eye surgeons advanced cataract surgery techniques.  He also served as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Shreveport VA and as the Director of Ophthalmology at the LSU Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Freeman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Carolina Vision Team and to our patients. Whether you are looking for routine eye care, dry eye treatment, or Glaucoma treatment, Dr. Freeman is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to being your local eye care expert.
