Doctor Q and A
What drove you to go into Ophthalmology?
There is a good mix of patients and pathology in Ophthalmology. I also like that there is a surgical and medical side to ophthalmology.
Do you do any sort of volunteerism or are there causes you support?
I am on the Board of Trustees at Fayetteville State University.
What is a “fun fact” about you that others may not know?
I am an avid baseball fan! My favorite tree is the Long Leaf Pine and I own a tree farm.
What are some family facts?
I am married with three wonderful children
What is important for your patients to know?
I was born here in North Carolina and raised locally in Cumberland County and so my patients very literally hit close to home. When treating my community I feel as if I’m treating my family.
