Dr. David Fingerhut
Dr. David Fingerhut received his bachelor of arts from Indiana University with honors in 2002 and pursued a career in investment banking. He left Wall Street to study pre-med at City University in New York after which he returned to Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis where he received his doctorate in medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Fingerhut completed his internship at New York Hospital-Queens, and his residency in ophthalmology at Albert Einstein/Montefiore in the Bronx where he was awarded surgical resident of the year. He then moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he finished a two-year surgical fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at the Vitreoretinal Foundation. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Retinal Specialists.
Born in New York City, Dr. Fingerhut attended The Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts, and The Lawrenceville School outside of Princeton, New Jersey before earning his bachelor of arts with honors at Indiana University. Dr. Fingerhut is recently married; he and his wife are avid travelers and fans of live music and the arts.
